Tips for filling your cartridge successfully:
Watch the video below after reading this guide.
1. Take your time, do not rush the process.

2. While cartridge is still sealed, push the gray rubber stopper up into the cartridge with your finger before opening it so it is a little bit pushed in with the back of the cartridge.
3. Remove the cartridge from the package
4. Make sure you are holding the cartridge flat firmly on a surface or using a Halo Cartridge filler.
5. Swab tip with alcohol prep pad.
6. Insert Lure lock
7. Get rid of excess air that may be in your transfer needle before inserting it into the cartridge for transfer so you are not adding additional air to the cartridge.
8. SLOWLY FILL THE CARTRIDGE WITH THE LIQUID, DO NOT RUSH THIS STEP, THE AIR NEEDS TIME TO VENT OUT THROUGH THE LURE LOCK.
9. Once the liquid is in, hold the cartridge firmly on the surface or in the halo and allow 15 seconds to make sure the air fully releases out of the cartridge so you do not create a back pressure and the rubber stopper pushes back out of the back.
10. You can check if there is still pressure by picking up the cartridge with your finger on the gray rubber stopper and make sure that it is not pressing against your finger out of the back, if it is, there is still pressure in you cartridge, insert a lure lock to release the pressure
11. If it is hard to screw into the pen, it is because the gray plunger needs to be pushed in a little bit. The black plunger needs a little space to seat properly into the cartridge.
